Flood Insurance: Small-Scale Magazine Flip Ad

This project took a great deal of conviction and drive, as each page of vectorized illustrations was hand-drawn. This was all done to faithfully reconstruct the average modern home and family dynamic, and illustrate them in a fashion that subverts those expectations by damaging this
stability. All done in a way that retains attention through detail and humor.

First page of the ad, prelude to the results of the flood.

Second page of the ad, result of the flood to the home. Surrealist humor makes it

a bit lighthearted, but still illustrates the mess that this natural disaster can cause.

A secret ending! In another variation of the result from the first page, readers could

find this spread instead. The humor is more dark in comparison to the whimsy of the

first ending, although it still retains the attention of the viewer in a memorable way.
